This windowpane look I was excited about doing a post on for awhile now. I got this shirt dress a couple months ago at Charlotte Russe but it is no longer on their website. I posted links to some similar items below. I always try to post a high and low option in my posts because I know not everyone will want the same item.
This dress can easily be dressed up and made work appropriate. Just add some black tights and booties or flats. I'm 5'6 so it's a little too short for me to wear heels without tights. I was told it looks like I am missing my pants. Flats work great with the dress without tights for a cute day or night look. It's still dressy but more casual and I love that it's versatile. I ran to Costco while wearing this and I was severely over dressed though.
An all black look like this is the perfect backdrop for a bright red lip. I'm wearing Ruby Woo by Mac. This is a great color on almost everyone. It also can look completely different on different people. A good red lip can do amazing things to a classic look. I also did a deeper side part on my hair with loose curls to go with the classic feel. The sunglasses are oversized and black. A very versatile black pair of sunglasses with a modern shape is a perfect addition to your collection. I have linked some options below.

I purchased my sunglasses over a month ago in store at Versona. I could not find them on their website but they may still have them in their stores.
