I've been trying out new shake recipes for awhile now and finally have a good one! I use plant protein since I can't do lactose so it's hard to find ones that aren't chalky. This shake is dairy free and still tastes really good. Investing in a Nutri Bullet was the best decision because I use it allll the time. Using a blender makes a huge difference and it actually got me drinking protein shakes. I love chocolate and milkshakes so I make this shake instead when I get those cravings or use it as a quick meal.
What you need:
1/2 a frozen banana
1 1/2 cups of Almond milk
1 scoop of chocolate protein
1 teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon of PBfit (optional)
The banana does need to be frozen for it to be more like a milkshake so I usually cut them when I buy them and store them in my freezer. You can use any chocolate protein for this but the one's I've used are Plant Fusion and Vega Protein and Greens (You can find the Vega one at Target). You just add all the ingredients into a blender and that's it! The unsweetened cocoa powder and peanut butter can be adjusted to your taste. It's really easy that easy to make.
