Vanity Area Organization Tips

Figure out what products you use everyday- Anything I use daily goes in a makeup bag that I have on top of the vanity table. This makes it easy to grab if I need to take it somewhere. It's also easier to keep clutter off my vanity table by tossing it in a bag when I'm done with it. I'm usually in a rush and this keeps putting my makeup away easy.
Use silver wear dividers in the drawer- This vanity has one open drawer and no dividers which makes it impossible to keep it clean or organized with small things. The white plastic dividers at IKEA for silver wear fit perfectly and I just remove them when I need to clean makeup off of them.
Larger drawers for hair products and palettes- I tried just having the vanity table but ended up leaving things sitting out all over it because they didn't fit. It looked like a MESS all the time because there was just too much stuff on the top. I finally added this drawer and use the top drawer for palettes, the second one for hair products and the third for curling irons/hair straightener.
Store your brushes in cute containers- Storing your brushes on top makes them accessible and keeps them from getting ruined at the bottom of a drawer. You can get realllly creative with brush holders. Candle holders, toothbrush holders, glass jars- literally anything can be used for this. Just find something you like! It just needs to hold your brushes so it doesn't have to be anything made specifically for them.
