Have you ever had a really bad hair color experience? I have and I know they suck. I usually get it touched up every couple months but I try to make it last as long as possible. I've been using a purple shampoo for YEARS and still use it. If I think my hair is looking a little warm I leave the shampoo on like a mask in the shower for a few minutes then rinse and use conditioner. I can definitely tell after I use it because it takes out any brassiness and brightens the color. I've had to use this in the past to fix my hair when it didn't turn out right.
Since bleaching damages my hair so much I started using the Olaplex 3 at home treatment regularly. It's helped my hair sooo much especially with growing it out. The treatment isn't a conditioner or a mask so you still need to use a deep conditioner with it. I just put the Olaplex on an hour before I get in the shower and then shampoo and condition.
I've been testing out these products from Lancome and I actually loved them enough to do a review. I've been using the Vitamin C serum every morning and the retinol twice a week at night. I've noticed my skin looking a lot brighter and my makeup goes on smoother. The Vitamin C serum goes on better when I apply it after moisturizer. This is my first time using a retinol so I don't use it every night and I might not use it during the summer when I'm in the sun more. I've used similar products before but with these I noticed the results right away.
Out of all the products the setting powder and setting spray have been my favorite. The powder is so light on your skin but it works really well with preventing oil which is exactly what I need. My skin is a lot less oily when set my foundation with this powder but still looks bright and natural. I've used other powders but this one looks more natural on my skin. I'm usually careful about setting sprays because they don't always work on every skin type. This one actually gives you a fresh glow and melts your makeup into your skin flawlessly.
I really loved all of these products and I would definitely recommend the Lancome setting powder out of all of them. Everything is linked above including the CC cream I use!
