One thing I’m trying this year is testing out some new beauty services. I get so nervous about trying new things like that but there’s a lot that I’ve always wanted to do. This is the first on my list because it’s something I that I thought would make the biggest difference for me. I’ve been filling my brows in as long as I can remember because I have very little eyebrows naturally. I’ve heard of microblading before but decided to get over the fear and try it. When a something makes your life easier and getting ready faster in the morning then I’m obsessed. Prior to my appointment I researched it and watched videos and basically just scared myself. Since I’m starting with very little brows I figured I had nothing to lose!
The process itself was painless for me. I was AMAZED! If anything it just felt like tweezing or poking with a pen and I didn’t know when she started. They did use a really good numbing cream on me but I was still expecting some pain. When she was done I was so happy with my new brows. It made such a different on my face and I was ready to go. There wasn’t any pain after and my brows looked filled in without needing makeup. I’m still in the healing phase but I haven’t had any issues and am overall so happy with them! There are some inconveniences like not being able to sweat for 10 days or get them wet but it’s only temporary and worth it. I can’t wait to see the final and completely healed product after my touch up in a few weeks.
Please enjoy the unflattering with no filter before/afters lol.
For my Phoenix area ladies- I got my brows done at Arizona Beauty Co by Britni and I highly recommend her! It was a great experience and she made it painless and perfect. You can check her Instagram for promotional deals.
I did go back for my touch up after my initial visit a couple months after. It's been awhile and I still love my brows lol. They do fade a little after you heal but my brows are still looking good to me and no one can tell I had them microbladed (in a good way). It's not something that replaces makeup if that's what you're expecting. I'm still happy I did it and will be going back for my touch up at the beginning of next year. Zero regrets.
